shades of trouble

I am not a white person. I have never seen a white person. Anyone using that term, “white person,” to separate those of another shade of skin color, is using a term that is not factual. There is no white race. The race of those people is probably Caucasian, but then again, race is an original construct of racist people. Racist people are those who separate individuals based on a perception called “race,” having to do with skin color variations and facial features. That is why they are called “racist” people. They are the same individuals who believe in Sociology over Biblical Originality.

The latter has to do with the origin of a particular strain of people group, not color, nor skin shade variation. If one goes back to the extended family of Noah, one might be able to make judgements, most likely false, but judgements anyways, concerning the origin of a particular original tribe or people group.

Suffice to say, if one reads the Bible, it is clear within the pages of the text that God is not concerned about skin color, nor ever has been. It is, therefore, expedient that people who follow the teachings within the Bible submit that the labels applied by the heathen do not apply to us. “Us” being those the Moslems would term “people of the Book,” that is, people who read and adhere to the facts located in the Bible.

There were only two distinctions that could be classified as parallel to race in the Old Testament- Jew and Gentile. But, Jesus died on the cross, changing that. There is no more distinction between Jew and Gentile. It is clear in the New Testament.

With this in mind, I determine, from this day forward, to vehemently reject any and all labeling- both of those who have similar facial and skin color to me, and those who do not have similar facial features and skin color to me. I reject the idea of “race” as beneath the standards that God set for His creation under The New Covenant, and I reject it because it is used as a tool to divide and conquer territory in the name of evil. I stand as one who has studied  the Word and I will speak as the Word speaks.

About thelostkerryman

Thelostkerryman is an author, entrepreneur, and disciple- this side of Tir Na N'Og- living in the forests of a consistently confused country. Here in this hill country, hurling doesn't usually involve a hurley, store-made soda bread resembles an inedible Irish megalith, and Kerrygold is only found hidden like a luck penny in the belly of Kroger. This blog is an account of his adventures, thoughts, eclectic -and eccentric- ramblings, random or insightful poetry, humor and non-humor, pictures (photos), video, essays, fiction, poetic fiction, nonfiction, drama, and writing he has not classified in the description above. Agree with you. The one who wants to divide us is the one who wants to conquer us. We all know who he is.
