This lake is “man-made,” a product of an ambitious 19th century canal system in Ohio. Today, the shores of the lake are home (and second home) to a vast assortment of Americans…from rich to poor and many in between.

  1. It’s interesting how many man-made lakes there are in Ohio. I’m not sure why that is.
